Les Jardins de Maylis is a project consisting of apartments T1 (91) and T2 (13), dedicated to seniors. In a strong historical perimeter, nourished by the presence of the ancient church of Sainte-Marie and its presbytery, the project is inspired by vernacular illustrations that abound in traditional Landes architecture. The rural, but also local identity of the place is thus preserved. Lake, ocean and pine forest are also convoked—but in the garden this time. It is this omnipresent nature that reappears in the heart of the block, in this cloister whose project is adorned.
